Road closed after serious two car crash

North Bank near the Dog In A Doublet pub was closed at 11.44am with access from the Whittlesey end only.

A blue Jaguar F-Pace and a red BMW have been involved in the head-on collision at the junction of North Bank and Northey Road.

One man has been taken to hospital.

The East of England Ambulance Service Trust ambulance attended and treated a man in his 40s with a facial injury.

He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital for further care.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A second man was also treated at the scene for minor injuries.
