Man in Crowland dies after being trapped under car he was working on

The emergency services were called to The Chase in Crowland after 7pm on Saturday evening.

Sadly, despite receiving medical attention the man passed away.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to The Chase, Crowland, at 7.15pm on Saturday (September 29), to a report that a man was trapped under a vehicle.

“Sadly, he later died.

“We are not treating the incident as suspicious.”

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Lincs Fire and Rescue were called to a domestic garage at an address at The Chase, Crowland, on Saturday.

“A male was working under a car when it fell on him. Crowland crew attended and used hydrolic rescue equipment to remove the man.

“The crew carried out CPR for a considerable time before the ambulance crew arrived. The man was deceased.”
