Sheds at Peterborough allotment catch fire

Two sheds at an allotment in Peterborough caught fire.

Fire crews from Dogsthorpe were called out at 3.25pm on Thursday to Peterborough Road in Newborough where they extinguished the flames.

The firefighters had returned to their station by 5.15pm.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
