Safety message during assembly
Representatives from the NSPCC visited Sacred Heart primary school, Bretton last week to talk about safety last week as part of the national charity’s Speak Out. Stay Safe project. Michelle Newton NSPCC Schools Service Area Coordinator for Peterborough & North Cambridgeshire said: “It was great to see the pupils at Sacred Heart Primary School really engaged with the assembly.
“It is really important to do sessions such as these as early as possible. This service is about encouraging children to speak out to stay safe. It includes raising awareness of abuse and bullying in all its forms, in an age-appropriate and sensitive way.”
