Tree preservation order after application for new home in Castor

A tree preservation order (TPO) in Castor has been approved.

A provisional TPO at 45 Peterborough Road had been served on July 15 following a planning application to build a four-bedroom detached dwelling with a garage in the rear garden.

The TPO has been the subject of a consultation and an objection.

The property at 45 Peterborough Road is a Grade II Listed building within the Castor Conservation Area.

Peterborough City Council’s planning committee unanimously approved the TPO on Tuesday after it was recommended by the authority’s head of planning.
