Peterborough election results: Cabinet member’s son wins Glinton & Castor for Conservatives

There will be a father and son on the council after Saqib Farooq won Glinton & Castor for the Conservatives.

Saqib is son of Mohammed Farooq, cabinet member for digital services and transformation.

The ward has two Conservative councillors, with Saqib replacing council leader Cllr John Holdich who is stepping down.

Gregor Guthrie (Green) - 202

Stuart Martin (Labour) - 225
