Police searching for missing Wisbech man find a body

Sidney Meads, 64, was reported missing on Friday afternoon (8 January) at just after 2.30pm.

He was last seen near his home in Ramnoth Road on Monday (4 January).

Sidney is described as 5'9", of slim build with grey, shoulder length hair and facial hair.

Today a Cambridgeshire police spokesman said; "Officers searching for missing Sidney Meads discovered the body of a man near Wiggenhall St Germans in Norfolk yesterday afternoon (12 January).

"Formal identification has not been completed, but it is believed to be Sidney and his family are aware.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
