Police launch murder inquiry after stabbing in Wisbech

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man was stabbed in Wisbech on Monday (February 15).

The man, in his 20s, was attacked following an incident at a property in Churchill Road.

He died in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, at about 3.30am today (Wednesday, February 17).

An 18-year-old man from Wisbech arrested in connection with the stabbing on Tuesday remains in custody.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection.
