Police launch investigation after body of woman found in water

Police have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was found in water near Spalding.

Lincolnshire police said they were called yesterday (Sunday) following the discovery at Coronation Channel.

The police spokesman said they were still trying to establish the identity of the woman, and the death was currently ‘unexplained,’ appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire police on 101, referencing incident number 249 of July 31.
