Police investigation after house wrecked in blaze.

Police have launched an investigation after fire devasted a house in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, August 8).

Lincolnshire police have appealed for witnesses to the blaze in Beech Close, Market Deeping which happened around 4am.

Police said in a Statement: “The property was extensively damaged but thankfully no one was injured.

“The owners of the house are being assisted with accommodation by the British Red Cross.”

Police are working jointly with Lincolnshire fire and rescue service.

The investigation is at an early stage, the exact circumstances are not yet known, with investigating officers keeping an open mind as to what has happened.
