Police called to car found in ditch on rural road near Peterborough
Police were called to a ditch on a rural Cambridgeshire road after a car was spotted almost submerged in the icy water.
Police were called at 10.16am today (23 December) to French Drove on Thorney follwwing the call of a vehicle in the water.
A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire police said; "Officers and firefighters attended the scene but there was no-one in the car. Checks were made with the vehicle’s registered owner, who had arranged recovery of the car. There were no reported injuries.”
