Police have attended a property in Peterborough over reports of a sudden death.

The emergency services were called this afternoon to a property on London Road with residents reporting the presence of several police vans, ambulances and forensic teams.

Investigations continued over the course of the afternoon but officers have now concluded that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “Police were called today (30 December) at 12.13pm to a property in London Road, Peterborough with reports of a sudden death.

“Officers attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
