Police appeal after teenager stabbed in Peterborough

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a teenager was stabbed in Peterborough last night (August 30).

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after violence broke out in Dover Road, Peterborough at 7.40pm, although police have said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.40pm to reports of violence on Dover Road. Officers and paramedics attended the scene.

“A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

“The suspects left the scene in two Audi cars, one blue and one black.

“No arrests were made and inquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with any information regarding this should contact Cambridgeshire Police.”
