Police appeal after several people taken to hospital following crash near Peterborough

Police have appealed for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash on the A47 near Peterborough which left several people injured.

Police officers issued an appeal for information on social media following the collision yesterday evening (June 27) just before 7pm on the A47 at Thorney Toll.

Police said: “At 18:39 hours (Saturday 27.06.20) officers along with Ambulance were called to a three vehicle RTC.

“A number of persons were taken to Peterborough City Hospital with slight injuries.

“The vehicles were recovered at the scene and enquires are ongoing.

“Did you witness this collision? Please call 101 and quote CAD number 479 of 27.06.20.”
