Peterborough procession for peace and charities
On Saturday, March 19, Burton Street Mosque organised the procession which saw 200 people along with member of Cambridgeshire police walk from Burton Street, through the city centre and into Central Park where it concluded with prayers and a children’s play.
The event, which was a huge success, raised money for Sue Ryder and Macmillan cancer charities.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said: “We try to get involved with our local communities where we can to show our support for different causes and initiatives.
“The procession had a really good turn out, it was great to see people come together to support their community.”
