Peterborough police have confirmed they are not treating the death of a man found at the city Embankment as suspicious.

Police sealed off an area of land near the Regional Pool and officers and forensic teams erected a tent after the tragic discovery yesterday.
A member of the public discovered the body of a man at around 10.30am and alerted a nearby police officer to the discovery.

Hide AdInvestigations took place at the scene yesterday, and this morning a Cambridgeshire police spokesman confirmed the death was not being treated as suspicious.
