Peterborough fire and rescue crews rescue people from boat which ran aground
Fire and rescue crews were called to save two people who were trapped when their canal boat ran aground.

On Friday at 4.58pm, one crew and the rescue vehicle from Dogsthorpe, one crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to rescue two people from the boat on the river near Embankment Road, Central ward.
Firefighters brought them safely to the riverbank, before returning to their stations by 6.20pm.
