Peterborough driver cut free from crash by fire and rescue crews
A driver needed medical help after being cut free by fire and rescue crews following a crash last night.
At 9.33pm crews from Stanground, Dogsthorpe and Yaxley were called to the collision on Winyates in Orton Goldhay, Peterborough.
Firefighters arrived to find a car had collided with a metal fence. Using specialist cutting equipment they released on male casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.
The crews returned to their stations by 10.30pm.
