Peterborough cars set on fire over Christmas

Three cars in Peterborough were set on fire over the Christmas period.

Firefighters from the Dogsthorpe station were called out at 5pm on Christmas Eve (Thursday) to Gladstone Street in Millfield where they discovered a “well-developed fire” involving two cars.

They extinguished the fire and had returned to their station by 6pm.

Then at 3am on Boxing Day the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade was called to a fire in Cobden Avenue which is also in Millfield.

The firefighters extinguished the car fire and were back at their station by 3.50am.
