A person has been taken to hospital following a three car collision in Peterborough.

The crash happened at about 2.30pm on Eastfield Road.near the junction with Padholme Road

The collision involved a Ford Mondeo, Volkswagen Golf and Toyota Yaris.

A police spokesman said one person was taken to hospital but it was not thought there were any serious injuries.

The road was shut while emergency services worked at the scene
