Adventure awaits at Ferry Meadows this October half term with outdoor activities, wildlife workshops, an action-packed holiday club and a spook-tacular Halloween Drone Show.

Here is what is coming up:

Oak Adventurers Holiday Club is open 26 – 30 October at Nene Outdoors, perfect for kids aged 8-13. Action-packed fun awaits!

Complete the Spooky Adventure Trail: Pick up your activity booklet from the Visitor Centre and follow the trail to discover the hidden animals watching you in the Park.

Complete the quiz as you go, then return to claim your prize.

Hire a bike at Nene Outdoors: The perfect way to explore the Park! Available daily from 10.30am to 5pm, choose from a range of styles and sizes, including e-bikes, plus helmets come free with every hire.

Daily Boat Trips: Enjoy a lake and river cruise on the electrically-powered passenger boat and see what wildlife you can spot. These 45-minute trips depart daily from the Visitor Centre Jetty.

FREE Halloween Crafts at the Visitor Centre: Head for the activity table to enjoy some crafty activities.

Ride the Ferry Meadows Railway: Sit back and enjoy the ride! Running daily, weather permitting.

Indoor Archery – 26 October

Take aim and unleash your inner Robin Hood or Maid Marian at Nene Outdoors. Sessions are suitable for age 8 and over.

FREE Owls & Their Pellets Workshop – 28 October

Uncover the secrets of these fascinating birds of prey. Get hands-on as you dissect owl pellets and discover what owls have been eating and the other clues hidden inside.

Climbing Wall – 28 October

Great fun for both adults and children age 4 and over at Nene Outdoors.

Halloween Drone Show – 29 & 30 October

Get ready to be amazed as 250 illuminated drones take to the night sky, creating Halloween-themed scenes and spooky characters high above the Park, from ghosts and pumpkins to magical surprises! Plus, enjoy live entertainment, funfair rides and a fantastic selection of food trucks serving delicious treats throughout the evening.
