Dramatic pictures show a crane removing a massive truck stuck in a narrow village lane for three days.
The road haulage lorry from Peterborough got stuck in the small roads of Forder near Saltash in Cornwall on Monday.
It was delivering seed to a farm but apparently missed the entrance and despite a 'no heavy goods vehicle' sign on the road continued down the narrow lane.
An 80-tonne crane was eventually sent to the scene on Wednesday to remove it - apparently driven by the same man who removed a stuck lorry there in 2007.
The truck’s load of seed and its cab was removed ahead of the lift.
Power cables above the location were removed to gain access to the trailer and cab before it could be removed - meaning power was cut to the village.
Devon and Cornwall Police said surrounding roads were closed on Wednesday as crews attempted to recover the vehicle.
One local said: said: "Having a lorry stuck in the road here every 16 years is probably the most interesting thing that happens here."
Another said: ''Last time it was a smaller lorry. This one, I think, is much bigger.
"They brought in an 80 tonne crane to lift it out.
''The guy who is in charge of the crane operation was the same man who lifted the last lorry out that got stuck 16 years ago.''
