Visitors go Wild about free festival at Ferry Meadows

The free event brought together a wide range of local wildlife and environmental organisations, including the Nene Park Trust ranger team, with hands-on activities, interactive workshops and fascinating live displays and demonstrations.

Teresa Fairchild, Nene Park Trust Commercial Manager, said: “We were absolutely delighted with how Wild About went. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying Ferry Meadows and engaging with the huge variety of organisations, charities and activities that joined us for the day.

"The atmosphere was fantastic, and seeing families exploring, learning and having fun in the Park was exactly what we hoped the event would achieve.

"A huge thank you has to go to everyone who took part, our staff and volunteers, and of course everyone who came along and supported the event. We’re really proud of what we created together and are already excited about how Wild About can grow in the future.”
