Vandals cause damage to Yaxley community building

Regularly in use, the building is home two coffee meetings and a repair workshop. Looking ahead to Easter, the parish council has been holding its annual Easter egg hunt at the venue.

Michelle Darbon from Yaxley Parish Council said: “We are saddened and disappointed to see the building like this. We hope people come forward with information. We want to continue to be able to offer it as a useful and inviting space for the community to use and enjoy.”

The council recently had the building repainted and some fencing taken down to improve the look of the space, but now are reconsidering their decision to continue this in light of the graffiti.
