Kevin Bowyer, Alzheimer’s Society services manager for Peterborough, said: “If the January blues have got to you or you’d like to be spoiled for a Valentine’s Day rendezvous then we’d love you to come along to our pamper day to enjoy this chance to indulge and spoil yourself.

“Two-thirds of people with dementia live in the community yet far too many people with the condition are left feeling isolated and lonely and unable to access vital services and this could be a chance for people to be pampered and seek information on services available to them.

“The Dementia Resource Centre is a one-stop shop for advice, information and support, ensuring people living with dementia and their carers in Peterborough are able to get the help they need in everyday life.”

The Dementia Resource Centre is at 441 Lincoln Road, Millfield, Peterborough, PE1 2PE (entrance via 5 York Road, PE1 3BP). There will be free tea and cake available on the day too.
