New data has revealed the ‘gold standard’ Peterborough primary schools with the most high achievers in reading, writing and maths tests.
The Department for Education’s website provides public access to a range of metrics used to assess school performance, including average scores in reading and maths.
Another metric used is the ‘percentage of pupils achieving at a higher standard’.
According to the Department for Education, “pupils are achieving at a higher standard if they achieve a scaled score of 110 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assesses them as ‘working at a greater depth within the expected standard’ in writing.”
We’ve taken a look at the top six Peterborough primary schools with the highest number of high achievers
The most recent set of data relates to key stage 2 pupils at the end of 2025.
