Talented hairdresser makes her dream come true by opening her own salon in Peterborough

Wife and mum, Alex Lewandowska, has just thrown open the doors to her own salon, called The Alex’s Lounge, at the Orton Enterprise Centre.

She has built up the business on her own and she made her dream come true after a decade spent managing other people’s salons.

She said: “I decided it was time to create something truly my own.

"Over the years, my amazing clients have inspired and supported me so much — they’re the reason I finally opened Alex’s Lounge.

She said: “I wanted to build a calm, elegant space where people can relax, feel pampered, and leave feeling confident and beautiful.

"I’ve always been driven, passionate, and independent, and opening my own salon is the result of all the love I have for what I do and the people I do it for.

She added: I’m so grateful to have reached this point after so many years of gaining experience from excellent salon owners and completing additional training both in the UK and abroad.

"Every step of that journey has shaped the stylist I am today."

Alex said she does not intend to recruit any staff for the moment.

She added: “I care deeply about the condition of my clients’ hair and always focus on creating low-maintenance looks that embrace their natural beauty.

"I want my clients to enjoy their colour for as long as possible, without needing constant upkeep.”
