Sue Ryder in Peterborough delighted by ‘wonderful donation’

The hospice in Longthorpe, which is suffering a financial crisis due to the impact of the coronavirus, received £900, surgical masks and food from Sheikh Azeem, Haq Nawaz and Mohammed Tariq.

The donation was warmly received from the hospice’s interim head of fundraising Joely Garner.

She said: “We’d like to say an extra special thank you to Dr Haq Nawaz, Mohammed Tariq and Sheikh Azeem for their wonderful donation to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice during this time of crisis.

“It really is an unprecedented situation for us all, and we have seen an extraordinary response from our incredible supporters. Thank you again for your generosity.”
