Steeplejacks share spectacular Peterborough views from top of Cathedral spire

Steeplejacks who have been working at Peterborough Cathedral this week have shared stunning views of the city from their unique vantage point.

Ben Dawson and Carlo Fiori, from Dawson’s Steeplejacks, were working to ensure the historic building’s lightning protection system was in a good condition.

But while they were working at one of the highest points in the city, they were able to take a moment to enjoy the view - and take some spectacular photographs of the city.

Ben, director of the steeplejack firm said: “We have got used to the heights now - it is just second nature.

“But when you are up there you have to take a minute to look at the view.

“You always get time to just chill and have a quick look - there is no-one there to bother you.”
