Snow arrives in Peterborough

Snow has arrived in Peterborough this afternoon (Monday).

Monday, 10th February 2020, 4:08 pm

The Met Office had earlier teased residents that the white stuff would arrive after issuing a weather warning, with snow forecast between 2pm and 7pm.

However, the warning only covered the outskirts of Peterborough, from just north of the A1 at the Wansford junction heading into Stamford, Bourne and beyond.

But instead snow is starting to cover large parts of the city, including Glinton, Dogsthorpe and Werrington.
