Residents across the city first noticed issues yesterday (December 28) which left them unable to access the internet via wifi.

These issues persisted for most of the day, with many using their mobile data to get online and voice their displeasure at the service.

Residents from the Hamptons and those out as far as Yaxley and Whittlesey reported that they were suffering with connectivity problems before Sky confirmed that the issue was nationwide.

This morning (December 29) though, they claim to have resolved the problems and have appealed for anyone still struggling to get online to get intouch.

A statement said: “Support teams have identified the fault and have taken steps to resolve this.

“This is still being monitored and if you are experiencing issues, please follow the steps outlined on our website.”
