Relocation of Peterborough bus services set to begin as work starts on new Queensgate cinema

Construction work on a new cinema will start at Queensgate on Monday.

The work on the £60 million project will see a number of city bus services moved from the station to Acland Street next to the Brewery Tap pub.

The £60m extension to Queensgate will see a 10-screen Empire cinema, new restaurants and stores open.

The creation of the extension is due to complete ahead of Christmas 2021 and during this period there will be increased activity with cranes, heavy plant and construction personnel working to complete the exciting development.
