Wood Green has featured on Channel 4’s The Dog House

A Cambridgeshire animal charity is appealing for help to find forever homes for a dozen delightful dogs.

Woodgreen Animal Charity has a number of pet pooches looking for new families to look after them.

From pugs and French Bulldogs to husky cross and German Shepherd Cross, there are dogs to suit all families.

Biscuit is a four-year-old female German Shepherd cross. She can live with other dogs, and cats in some circumstances. The charity says she could live with a family with teenagers. She can be wary of new people so is looking for patient owners who can help build this confidence. Biscuit loves her walks and can be very strong on lead when she sees something of interest.

Dobby is a two year old male lurcher. The charity says it is not recommended for Dobby to live with other pets, or children aged under eight. He unfortunately arrived at the charity as a stray with a fracture so is on limited exercise currently and will need help throughout his recovery journey.

She seems unsure of what a television is and can react to things she sees. She is an active girl who loves long walks with lots of interesting smells and has fun being off lead in our secure gardens - and her favourite snack is cheese

Cooper is a nine-month-old male lurcher. He can live with other dogs, but not with cats or other small pets. Cooper can live with children over the age of 5 years old but children will need to be happy with a boisterous, playful dog. His favourite things are people, food and zoomies in his garden.
