Funding Affordable Homes Housing Association Ltd (FAHHA) is bringing forward the plans for 92 new homes on the former Staniland Court site.

The brownfield site is allocated for residential development in the new Peterborough Local Plan and FAHHA has secured funding from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority to deliver the homes.

A public exhibition about the proposal is being held on Wednesday, February 12 between 3.30pm and 7.30pm at The Lounge, Unit 4, Werrington Centre, Staniland Way, PE4 6NA.

Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions about the proposed development and to take people’s feedback. The exhibition is a drop-in event so there is no need to confirm attendance in advance. A copy of the information on display at the exhibition will also be available online from February 13 at:

www.athene-communications.co.uk/stanilandcourt.

Speaking about the proposal, Adam Broadway from Funding Affordable Homes Housing Association said: “Our proposal is for an attractive, good quality residential development which will provide much needed new affordable homes as well as investment in the Werrington area.

“We want the development to help improve the landscape of the local area, providing an economic boost at the same time as making it a brighter, safer place to live.

“We are keen to hear people’s views about the proposed development, including how it might help to improve the Werrington Centre, before finalising our plans and submitting a planning application.”
