The main first burst on Wednesday afternoon on the side of Malborne Way, close to Abbotsbury in Orton Malborne.
This has left one side of the road completely flooded with the water quickly spreading across the surface.
Anglian Water are currently on the scene slowing traffic to allow only one car to pass at a time.
The Peterborough Telegraph has contacted Anglian Water for comment.
