One for having some fun on the job, Emily had previously dressed up on Christmas and Valentines.

Starting out as a ‘bit of a joke’ Emily wanted to bring some smiles and laughter. Wearing her Star Wars mask in the office her colleagues loved it, she knew that was the start of her dressing up again.

She said: “Everyone was saying ‘not all superheroes wear capes’ about key workers, so that was it. I went and got hold of a mask and a superhero cape and it’s just spawned from there. It’s been great raising spirits. It’s not about trivialising the current situation it’s about giving the people something to smile about!”

Having had amazing reactions from her workplace and members on the public on her round, Emily has dressed up as a rainbow to support the NHS, a dinosaur and Wonderwoman.

A favourite of the public has been playing “Where’s Wally?” as Emily dressed up as Wally and asked people to spot her on her round. Families waved from windows and took her picture so they could post to Facebook that they had found Wally!

Community is something which is so important to Emily, as she has been shopping for some residents who are isolated and vulnerable. She said: “We are all trying to do our bit for the communities we deliver in. We are all supporting each other and doing what we can to keep things going.”

Stanground residents have something to look forward to over Easter as Emily has planned some special costumes!
