Mr Bristow attended the Kingsgate Church in Peterborough to meet with Leanne Waterman and other staff from the Care Zone who are supplying items including furniture to people who have been re-homed during lockdown.

Mr Bristow said: “The Care Zone and Kingsgate Community Church do a fantastic job supporting vulnerable people across Peterborough by supplying furniture and other household items. During the corona virus emergency, some families and households have needed support more than in usual times. They work closely with businesses throughout our City but always need donations. I will be writing to to City businesses asking them to donate items they can’t sell, but I hope the public will also give generously.”
