Peterborough MP urges residents to help food banks during crisis
Peterborough’s MP has urged residents to think of others and pick up donations for food banks when they go shopping during the pandemic.
Paul Bristow visited the food bank at the Dogsthorpe Methodist Church to see how they were helping vulnerable residents during the crisis.
He said: “We need more donations for this. The food banks are especially short of donations during this period.
“These services are crucial. They have regular clients, and also new clients who need more from the food banks.
“At this difficult time, it is crucial we do our bit - when you are doing your shopping, if you can, think about others and add a few bits for the food banks to help those who need it.”
