Peterborough Lido will once again host its popular dog swim sessions to mark the end of the 2026 season, it’s been announced.
Returning on October 4, 9 and 10, the sessions allow owners and their four-legged friends to enjoy a 90-minute swim together.
Last year’s dog swims were held in early September and attracted pooches of all shapes and sizes.
Having been a regular fixture over recent years, the annual dog swims bring the Lido’s summer season to a close, putting a full stop to months of hard work from staff and volunteers.
At the end of May, Lido marked its 90th anniversary with a Big Birthday Weekender celebration, featuring a late-night pool party and live music.
Four dog swim sessions will be held on each of the three days, with two in the morning and two in the afternoon.
The event is priced at £8.50 for dogs and £8.50 for the supervising adult.
A maximum of 200 spaced are available for each session.
