Peterborough law firm Buckles bolsters team with new appointments
A law firm in Peterborough has strengthened its team with two new appoiontments.
Buckles Law, based in Bourges Boulevard, has announced two senior appointments to its International team in a move that reinforces the firm's commitment to cross-border legal services.
Senior Associate Léa Maynard returns to Buckles Law to head the French Law team.
A French national and bilingual in English, she specialises in French estate administration matters with cross-border elements and supports the wider team on complex international private client matters.

And Pilar Cerrutti joins the International team as Spanish Abogado to provide expertise in real estate, corporate and probate work, with particular strength in advising clients on Spanish property law, inheritance matters and international estate planning.
Léa said: “More people are splitting their time between the UK and France, which creates its own estate planning challenges.
"Having expertise in both jurisdictions is essential to help clients navigate these complexities and Buckles offers the opportunity to put my experience to good use."
Pilar said: “We're also seeing growing demand from UK nationals with Spanish property who want to ensure their assets pass to their intended beneficiaries.
"Spanish inheritance law can be surprisingly complex, particularly because tax treatment varies significantly by region.”
Duncan Jackson, chief executive of Buckles Law, said: “International law has always been a significant part of Buckles’ offering and we are seeing substantial growth in cross-border work, particularly in probate and estate administration matters involving foreign jurisdictions.
“Léa and Pilar bring exceptional expertise and deep knowledge of their respective jurisdictions that will enhance our ability to deliver comprehensive cross-border legal services, strengthening this crucial area of our practice to ensure we can meet the evolving needs of our clients with international interests.”
