Millie wanted to help but didn’t know where to start, so mum Amy left her to think about it. By bedtime Millie knew she wanted to cycle for charity.

Having only been off her stabilizers for a year, the huge bike ride will have her cycling from Dogsthorpe to Eye, Newborough, Walton and Werrington. Starting off with six mile bike rides, Millie, with the help from her proud parents, has progressed up to nine miles. Fifteen, though, will be her biggest challenge yet!

Beaming dad Dylan said: “We set a target of £100 but deep down I thought we would probably hit a maximum of £150. She’s absolutely smashed it! We’re super proud of her.”

The family said they are so grateful for the support from the community.
