Peterborough councillors team up with volunteers for maintenance operation

Councillors joined volunteers to tidy a community facility in Peterborough.

Members of Family Voice were joined by cllr Irene Walsh and cllr Heather Skibsted and members of the Peterborough Rotary Club to tidy the Goldhay Centre at the weekend.

The team carried out gardening work and other maintenance tasks.

Louise Ravenscroft, Chief Operating Officer of Family Voice Peterborough said; “I want to say a special thank-you to everyone for all the time over the past few weeks that has been invested to get the centre ready again.

“They have spent many voluntary hours supporting us, saving us a lot of time and money.”
