Specialist consultancy Charis, in Trinity Street, which helps organisations to support vulnerable customers, joined forces with snack producer and distribution company, Delicious Ideas Food Group, of Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, to devise a fun food delivery service.

They devised a family-friendly ‘Pandemic Picnic Box’ full of healthy snacks and treats for staff at Charis who are working from home.

Nicola Eastwood, Charis’ HR director, said: “We wanted to come up with something that would show our employees how much we appreciate them and something to make them smile during these uncertain times.

“Because even a routine activity like food shopping has become more challenging, we wanted to treat them with some sort of food delivery, one that was not just functional but also fun.

“So we approached the Delicious Ideas Food Group and asked them to come up with something spectacular.

“The brief we gave them was to create a box that was family friendly with the sort of treats children love along with some healthy snacks for busy mums and dads to graze on through the day.

“Delicious Ideas created the perfect ‘Pandemic Picnic Box’, as it has now become affectionately known.

“Delicious Ideas really helped us achieve our goal by conjuring up an imaginative mix of treats and snacks in a way that very few other suppliers could, and the positive responses from our employees has been truly overwhelming.”

The boxes were picked, packed and dispatched by courier from Delicious Ideas Food Group.
