Working in a variety of roles on the front line, they have put their own safety on the line to help others who need it. The Peterborough Telegraph asked for nominations of the city’s health heroes - and readers sent in pictures of those who they were incredibly proud of. Lauren Davies who
works in paediatric intensive care, was nominated by her mum Julie Davies. She says “I could not be more proud of my daughter. She is my hero.” Luca Palumbo nominated his girlfriend Emily Hazell (right of the picture of three), a staff nurse at Peterborough city hospital A&E. Lydi-Marie Godley has nominated her mother Jeanette Godly who is a nurse. She said “my mother is my hero fighting on the front line. She is staying positive and hopeful.” Jeveria Raja, from Peterborough is a junior doctor, working in ITU in UCLH (University College London Hospital).
