The Peterborough Celebrates Festival was held at Ferry Meadows, with scores of people attending the free event.
It was the fifth year the festival has been held – and this year there was a link with the National Year of Reading, with plenty of stories and poetry on offer.
As is tradition, the festival ended with a Holi style paint celebration, closing the weekend in spectacular explosion of colour.
Peterborough Telegraph photographer David Lowndes was on hand to get some of the best pictures from the weekend.
