Fairline Yachts is giving its latest models their first UK public airing at Boats 2020 as it hopes to plot a new course for calmer waters after the storm of Covid.

The boutique all ticket show in Southampton replaces the traditional open-to-the-public Southampton Boat Show, postponed due to the pandemic.

The boats making their UK debut are the award-winning Alberto Mancini designed F//LINE 33 and the largest model in Fairline’s current portfolio, the Squadron 68.

A successful show will be important to Fairline Yachts after it was forced by the Covid outbreak to cut 240 jobs in June.

Peter McNulty, Fairline’s chief executive, said: “We are really pleased to be exhibiting at this year’s Boats 2020. This is the first boat show we have exhibited at since the Miami Yacht Show in February and we are grateful to be able to connect with our customers at this key event. The show offers the perfect platform for us to showcase some of our most popular models in a safe environment.

“With major UK debuts of the Squadron 68 and F//LINE 33, this is the ideal chance to meet our experienced team and discuss our exciting model range as we head to 2021.”
