The Peterborough Telegraph is running regular spotlights on dogs that need new homes to support the work of animal charities in the Peterborough area.
The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome dogs in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.
Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.
To find more details on each dog and to search for more rescue animals, visit www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
The RSPCA are funded entirely by public donations and receive no government money and therefore rely on the generosity of the public. Anyone wishing to support their work do so via www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/donate.

Neville is a very sweet boy once he has had time to get to know you. He came into us via a previous home, due to them being unable to cope. Neville can be unsure of new people and new surroundings so will need patient and understanding owners that give him time to settle. He will benefit from owners who can help build his confidence and socialise him at his own pace. Once Neville knows you he can very affectionate and enjoys lots of back scratches! Neville will need a secure and private garden with 4ft+ fencing that he can happily run around in. Neville will need to be the only pet in the home and will require further socialisation. We recommend calm children ages 12 years and over who understand to give him space when needed. Neville is housetrained and can be left for short periods. Neville loves his sniffs when out and about so will need a fairly active home. Can you offer Neville his forever home? Photo: Midlands

This lovely girl is Tati. She arrived in our care after being removed from unsuitable living conditions. After spending a bit of time adjusting and getting to know the kennel staff she is ready to go out into the big wide world! It's likely that Tati has never lived in a home prior to coming here and will therefore need training from scratch including toilet training. To achieve this, she will need someone at home for most of the day and then gradually build her up to being left home alone. Tati has always been around other dogs and would benefit from going to a home with another medium/large neutered male dog however a home with no cats or small animals is a must due to her high prey drive. It takes a little bit of time for Tati to bond and feel comfortable with new people so she will take alot of time and patience with her new owners. Tati is looking for an home with experienced dog owners who have had nervous rescue dogs before. She will require a large enclosed garden with secure 6ft fencing Photo: Midlands

This Beautiful Squishy little Girl is Tilly. She arrived here at the centre from a multi-dog household. After needing some extra TLC she is now ready to look for a home and family to call her own. Tilly is a shy girl, who has found kennel life quite stressful. She is very sweet and has ALOT of love to give! She shows a very sassy and cheeky character when bonded with you. Tilly is crate trained and uses her crate as her safe haven. So her new owners will need to provide a crate for her to have a safe space in the home for her to settle on her own terms. Tilly is quite an anxious girl who finds new situations quite overwhelming so owners who have experience with nervous terriers is a must. Tilly is looking for a home where her new owners are at home most of the day to keep her company as she loves being with you once she has bonded with you. Due to her shy nature we are looking for her to go to an adult only household with no other animals or children. Multiple visits will be required to see Tilly Photo: Midlands
