NHS care from Peterborough District Hospital in the 1970s

So as a tribute to my wonderful NHS colleagues here is a little bit of nostalgia from Peterborough District Hospital A&E department in the late 70s.

The first image features Sister Jayne Mayes from Stilton with Ron Gribbons (hospital maintenance and now deceased).

The second shows Sister Pat Freeman suturing a head wound.

Readers can take pressure off my over-stretched and exhausted colleagues by staying at home, washing their hands and keeping two metres apart.
