New homes plan for Peterborough’s Eastfield Road

An application for five new dwellings, each with a private garden and two parking spaces, has been submitted by Allerton Developments.

The plans include the demolition of the existing property, as well as the addition of a new visitor space.

The location at 266 Eastfield Road is close to Broadway and not far from Central Park.

A planning statement prepared by Boon Brown on behalf of Allerton Developments states: “The provision of quality homes with good access to the city’s services is clearly a benefit.

“The proposal will further assist in maintaining a mixed and balanced community.”

The application will now be considered by the council’s planning department.
