Lush store in Peterborough set to move

But fans of the store in Queensgate should not fear as it is only moving next door on Friday (February 21).

“​The whole team is so excited to have more space to showcase our fresh, handmade products in a shop that has been tailored to our customers needs. The new shop is a fantastic space for hosting events and parties and having a good old pamper,” said Georgia Byng, shop manager.

Visitors to the store will be able pick up a varied selection of cosmetics including an array of products with plastic-free packaging, gifts and limited edition Mother’s Day products. 

Opening Friday and weekend activities include product making workshops such as make your own ​Brightside Bubble Bar and make your own ​Rocket Science Bath Bomb.

Rosie Goodbourn, store design and materials researcher, added: “​At Lush we pride ourselves on sourcing the most ethical materials possible and this includes the materials we use to fit our shops. We want to show that it is possible to have beautiful, innovative store design that supports our ethics as a company.​”  -

The Peterborough branch has been designed with a variety of recycled and re-purposed materials. 

Furnishings have been crafted from reclaimed wood and worktops and shelving made of 100 per cent recycled plastic sheets.
